I truly wish there was a way to give no stars with my review. I’ve been living in the Links for a little over a year and I have had problems from the day I signed my lease. Starting with my most recent issue, I was going to check my mail and the key they gave that I’ve been using for quite a while was not working. When I called the office she says I had to make a maintenance request to fix it. I make the request and the maintenance guy comes to pick the key up while I was away so he left a message saying take the key to the office. When I take it to the office the lady tells me I’d have to pay $25.00 for a new key. My key was not broken or bent so the issue is with the box. This is the second time since I’ve moved in that my mailbox has been tampered with by them yet I am supposed to pay for whatever mistake they made. The mailboxes don’t even have numbers you have to guess which box is yours. On top of them changing tenants for their mistakes. When I moved in I was given a key to check out a unit. My spouse and I go to the unit and as we open the door we were greeted by roaches. The unit had a thick smell of roaches and had roach feces on the doors badly. So when I returned, the secretary is smiling and asked how was it. “Horrible” was my reply, and I explained to her the condition it was in. They then told me that it would be a few days for them to clean it. I wasn’t interested in moving in a clean roach infested apartment at all. So another lady suggested I move into an apartment on the “scenic view side with new appliances”, but it cost about 60.00 more than the other roach infested apartment. Being I’d closed my lease at my old apartment and had a U-Haul and children waiting I had no choice but to take the forced up sale or move into with the roaches. A few days (less than a week) after we move in we get an eviction notice stating we didn’t pay rent. I was furious because how did we get the key if we didn’t pay the fees to move in. When I talked to the office staff they told me the application fee was not processed so I had to pay the fees plus the late charge or be evicted before my first week was up. Not only are they super schemer’s with financial situations the roach issue is beyond out of control. Whatever service they have to come out I feel feeds the roaches and they don’t seem to care. The “new appliances” were not new and mostly broken. The stove wobbles and doesn’t set at the correct temp, the dishwasher is half put in so it falls out every time I open it. The dryer door won’t shut and was beyond full of lent when I moved in. They give you a mold warning when you move in and tell you to just use a little bleach to clean it. They don’t shovel the sidewalks when it snows or put down salt or make any attempt to shovel the drive. These are horrible apartments. I ran out of time to find a place to move before my lease was up last year but I will not make that mistake again. And if you’re looking for a place I highly recommend you keep looking to avoid the stress of living in the Links. Also the Greens are not no better just higher.

Actual joke of an apartment complex Been dealing with a roach infestation just about the entire time I've lived here, everything likes to break ans maintenance takes 10 years and 2 weeks just to get to it and the office ain't much help either, "we can only remind them to see you we can't make them we're just office staff ☹️☹️" girl 🙄 Took 4 months to fix a leaky AC, 1 month and a half to fix a dryer, took 7 months to fix a broken toilet They been out multiple times just to half ass the repair and constantly have to come back instead of actually fixing it. I'll be breaking my lease early and they can genuinely smd, I will not raise my kid in such a scam of an apartment and they won't be playing tea party with some roaches

This place is not a good place to live, they charge $800 a month for a place that roach infestation ,no matter how many times you clean or the bug people come, the washer and dryer is a joke the washer likes to leak water out, the dryer takes 3-6 times just to dry your clothes. Please never ever think to live here, in fact my first time ever here some kid at the leasing office got mad at the leasing staff for not giving there deposit back, and so he ripped all the trim off the walls, and put his knee through a painting. My best advice is SAVE YOUR $ and live somewhere else.

This place is an absolute joke! Lived there for two years and had to break my lease, first thing we noticed was there was a leak under the vinyl flooring by the washer and dryer, we had them come by MULTIPLE times throughout the 2 years and they never fixed the issue, and the dryer takes 3 to 6 cycles for the clothes to be most of the way dry. We didn’t have any roach problems for about the first half of the first year but after that we’d have a few every once and a while then towards the end of our stay when the tenant downstairs moved out your apartment got INFESTED with roachs, we had the people come spray MULTIPLE times and nothing worked! We even bombed our apartment MULTIPLE times and still had roaches. Our apartment was broken into and robbed twice, I already knew the area was bad but didn’t think I’d have to lock my door when just going down to my car.. it’s an overall mess, the employees and management have very poor communication and maintenance you have to put in MULTIPLE requests before the issue is actually taken care of. If you care about timely fixes and care about good communication through management I would highly recommend never renting here! I’ve been with Lindsey properties for almost 5 years and I’ve never had such an awful experience with any of their other properties. -signed a very unhappy former tenant

If I could give a zero, I would. I was planning to move across the country for college, called, put down my deposit, and then got put on a waiting list. Ok, sure. But 2 weeks to move in and I was still listed on the housing portal as on the waiting list so I started looking at my other options. Least to say, I went with a different apartment so I didn't have to live out of my car or a motel waiting for a room here. When I called to cancel, they said "ok, you won't get your deposit back" and refused to work with me. I hadn't even been in the state, let alone the apartment, for the "security deposit" to be for any damages, but they kept that $300. My lesson learned and probably a bullet dodged based on these other reviews. Maybe that $300 they stole from a broke college student can help fix the roaches.
