⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful Experience at Wickenburg Golf Club restaurant!
We had a girls’ luncheon at The Hitching Post restaurant, located at the historic Wickenburg Country Club, and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented — everyone at the table loved their meal. The service was just as impressive: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish.
The atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for catching up with friends. We left already talking about when we’ll be back! Highly recommend the Wickenburg Country Club for anyone looking for great food, great service, and a great time. 💛

Went there for the first time to have the all you can eat fish dinner. BEWARE do not order it. The fish was tough, greasy and overcooked. I have never had cod like this before. Our very kind waitress, informed the manager and she showed him the quality of food they were serving. Came to our table to apologize and nothing else. I would have hoped at least a free dessert since we couldn’t finish our dinner. Came home and had to take tums to help with an icky stomach. But the baked potato was good.

Thank you for the kind offer. What we said was true, but by then we no longer had an appetite. We will decline your offer

Special place to golf. Everything I look for in a golf course. All areas were clean and organized. Both friendly staff and golfers. I played as a single and came up on 3 groups who allowed me to play through and were congenial in the process. Quick check-in, clean, well maintained carts. The course was challenging, well kept, and entertaining. I will return and would recommend it to friends.

This morning, we ventured to Wickenburg to play at the Wickenburg Country Club. As residents of the Peoria and Scottsdale areas, with extensive experience golfing throughout the valley, I present this assessment from the perspective of a discerning golfer.
The driving range is insufficiently sized and presents a disorganized selection of found balls and range balls, all characterized by significant wear, lacking the proper dimples essential for effective play. The overall condition of the range is unsatisfactory, further highlighted by signage warning players not to exceed 230 yards to prevent jeopardizing the safety of the maintenance crew's facility. Additionally, while buckets and towels for club cleaning were provided prior to play, they do little to mitigate the range's deficiencies.
The tee boxes demonstrate a pressing need for leveling, indicating a troubling disregard for course maintenance standards. The design of the holes is excessively gimmicky, featuring narrow fairways and numerous blind shots—not only from the tee box but also regarding approaches to various greens, which markedly change based on one’s position in the fairway. Although the greens are small and undulating, they do adequately hold approach shots. In contrast, the sand traps appeared to be reasonably well-maintained.
Ultimately, we made the decision to discontinue our round after 11 holes; we would have exited sooner, after 9, had the course layout permitted a return to the clubhouse at that juncture.
In reviewing other opinions on this course, it appears that many reviewers may play infrequently and are not accustomed to higher-quality golf facilities. It is worth noting that the course may be experiencing increased traffic following the transition of Wickenburg Ranch Golf Club to private status. In conclusion, I cannot recommend spending time traveling here for a round of golf.

This is a really fun place to eat. They had music, which was fun, old-time popular music. I ordered a pattymelt, which was pretty good with onion rings instead of fries. The atmosphere was festive and decorated. I went someplace after, so did not participate in drinks.
