We recently hosted our 100-Year celebration at Francisco Grande, and the experience was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious and received many compliments from our guests. Michelle was incredibly helpful and responsive every step of the way—from taste testing, to planning, to ensuring the event was executed perfectly. She was truly a pleasure to work with. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and very receptive to feedback and suggestions, making sure everything was carried out exactly how we envisioned. Cindy was also on-site assisting with setup and ensuring the event flowed smoothly from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better team or venue for such a special milestone. Highly recommend!

Paul- Certified Search Pro (Local Google Search) This place would’ve been great about 40-50 years ago, is the original review. After hearing the management’s response, I believe I missed the heartbeat of this place.
This historic gem at the Francisco Grande feels like a delightful stroll down memory lane, evoking the slower, more relaxed pace of 40–50 years ago when life moved at a gentler rhythm and baseball spring training carried that special mid-century magic. If you love the San Francisco Giants, stepping onto what was once their original spring training grounds is pure nostalgia—rich with genuine baseball history from the era of legends like Willie Mays, and the property still radiates that timeless charm of yesteryear. The classic vibe shines through beautifully (and the AI-generated photo of the golf course captures that serene, vintage appeal perfectly), even as some areas retain their authentic dated character that adds to the unique, unhurried atmosphere rather than detracting from it. They offer a picturesque golf course, fitness center, and spa for relaxation, though the amenities are accentuated with a good bar and restaurant in keeping with the resort’s intimate, old-school style.

This was my second stay at the resort in conjunction with the annual Arizona Golf Classic. I stayed an extra night this year and was so happy I did. From check-in, to the pro shop, to the staff at Dukes, everyone was gracious and helpful. The food and drinks were great. My room was clean and very quiet, which is always a plus. I hope to visit more than once a year in the future!
