The greens here are outstanding – quick, smooth and a real joy to putt on. Fairways are just as impressive, well kept and part of a layout that feels fair but still challenging. The course design makes every hole interesting and fun to play. The pace of play was great throughout the round, and the friendly staff add to the welcoming vibe. With the solid conditions and reasonable green fees, the bottom line is simple: Ballantrae offers great design, great conditions, and is definitely a place you’ll want to return to.

The food at Fireside Grill is worth the drive up the hill to Ballantrae. The view is amazing out the wall of windows overlooking the fairway and the patio. If you work remote, it is a wonderful place to take your computer, grab lunch, and work with a phenomenal view. Best secondary office location around!
